Adhesive Breast Prosthesis

Figgers stock Amoena who have released the new contact style 386Comfort+. Comfort+ is a temperature equalising material inegrated into the breast form which reduces overheating and therefore perspiration behind the breastform. The shape of the breast prosthesis replaces missing tissue fromt the upper chest and underarm. No skin supports are needed with the new 386Comfort+ but it is designed to be worn with a bra. The breast form comes complete with a Contact Care Kit for easy cleaning and care required to maintain the permanent adhesive.

 

I hope to answer some of the frequently asked questions. Ladies wonder about the snugness of fit of an attachable or contact prosthesis and this will vary from woman to woman. Women with a flat or hollow chest may have a closer fit than others who have tissue mounds. The adhesive used is an FDA Class 1 medical device that has been tested for biocompatibility and it is made with a combination of medical grade adhesives used successfully for a number of years.
